Romney doesn't have the benefit of making up a biographical narrative like Obama was able to do to suit his ends. Romney's grandfather fled to Mexico to escape prosecution for polygamy (he had five wives). He took up citizenship there and died in Mexico. Romney's father was born in Mexico and fled back to the U.S. as a refugee during the Mexican revolution. He tried to pawn himself off on the American people in 1968 as a natural born citizen when he unsuccessfully ran for president against Nixon. Unlike Obama, he wasn't successful in fooling the American people on that constitutional deal-breaker.

When I went to the Iowa Caucus to help Ron Paul grassroots, I was easily the oldest person there. The kids there were in their 20's and 30's and some of the sharpest people I've ever met.

Ron Paul's son should be running for President instead of Ron. That said maybe 2012 will be the end of the world. At least Romney looks good on TV, Paul reminds me of Dole, way to old to pull in the younger voters.
