I'd like to point out that the unmarried mothers (and fathers) includes Katie Holmes, Angelina Jolie, and any number of other people I don't give a rat's ass about.

I'm sure it also includes any number of lesbians who are in long-term committed relationships without the legal underpinnings our pathetic government gives heterosexuals.

Combine the unmarried births with the divorce rate, and you get only 30% of kids getting through childhood with "married parents" (as a generalization). I think in Indiana the rate of unmarried births is actually higher than the national ave.

Yep, I think we should pretty much focus on gay marraige bans. Them gays is just about the biggest threat to traditional marriage, family values and child welfare we ever seen here in Indiana.

As I recall from my Sunday School lessons, Jesus was really really down on adulterers and fornicators. Kinda harsh, even. Over 200 times! Somehow he never got around to grousing about men lying with men as women.

That doesn't mean that Christ was against straight folk, it's just that they need more supervision!
