(nutballl) Brownback has been blocking the confirmation of a federal judge. According to the Sen., he wants the judge to "explain" her presence at a same sex civil ceremony. A couple facts about the ceremony- the judge in question did not preside over the ceremony, she was just a guest. And, it was a ceremony for her next door neighbor, a long time friend. The Sen. has offered to allow her confirmation (she already got the Committee approval) if she will agree to recuse herself from any cases involving gay rights. Sigh....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
