Yes, to an extent he was. He was an opponent of same-sex marriage in particular, which made him a frequent target of those advocating gay rights. I suspect there are other state lawmakers who will be under a great deal of scrutiny by Gannett and others until they agree to pass state civil rights protections for gays and transgenders.

Jud McMillin cannot be the brightest light bulb on the Christmas Tree. Given all the politicians that found themselves compromised by videos, why would he record this. Perhaps he did not know his philandering was being recorded.

It seems that when our politicians rig the system to enrich themselves like Eric Turner that some how is given a pass. There are other instances where elected officials have enriched themselves, family, cronies and friends and this does not appear on the morality or ethics radar screen.

Corruptable people seem to be escorted into powerful positions with the lure of money, kickbacks, sex etc. Then they can be utilized or disposed of at the will of those who escorted and corrupted them.
