Yeah, even Marge O'Laughlin has jumped in on the attacks against Lugar. If her corrupt relationship with Bob Grand when she was State Treasurer had ever been exposed and investigated as it should have been, she wouldn't be opening her mouth at all right now. I exposed her last effort to steer tens of millions of dollars in business to a former Lugar staffer her last year in office through the handiwork of Grand and Brian Burdick. I was at a social gathering a few months after I helped kill her going away present to her old cronies where I ran into the former Lugar staffer who planned to retire off the deal she was setting up for him. The guy went ballistic when he heard my name and started screaming that I had ruined his well-laid business plan. Marje showed up at the legislature every day until the very end of session working with Grand and Burdick to slip her crony deal into a conference committee report. She came up to me one day and wanted to know why it was that I was working so hard to defeat her good bill. I told her that I was just representing my client. She told me that I really didn't need to work so hard.

I would add the flat out false accusation about Mourdock missing meetings when Lugar knows perfectly well that state officials often send subordinates to those meetings. Gov. Daniels does the same thing as every other state office holder.
