The relevant question is how much is the highest paid teacher in Chicago earning. Lewis had made a pledge not to earn more than the highest paid public teacher in Chicago when she first became head of the union. I assume there is not teacher making anywhere close to that amount, but it is Chicago so I suppose anything is possible. She's also drawing paychecks from two different unions, which may be how she got around her campaign promise.

This woman reminds me of Hillary Rodham Clinton who moans that she is not "truly wealthy" even though her income completely belies whatever she says about her financial status. But that is par for the course with any liberal as with this Chicago union hypocrite- lie, distort, point the finger elsewhere- anything but admit the truth.
