I'm no fan of Kennedy or Brown, but Brown and Bauer have a point, that Kernan-Shepherd is an academic exercise, put together by government employees and former govt employees.

If you really think the number of townships and counties is a problem, you're missing the point. People of Indiana have been forced to spend a billion dollars in the past 10 years to a new Colts Stadium, Pacers Arena, and even more convention center space, none of which creates any jobs or economic activity. All of which benefited, to an alarming degress, wealthy white people (Irsay, Simons, hotel owners).

Never a truer statement Ms. Kennedy has made that this one. And the same goes to bringing attention to the ridiculous remarks of Amos.... What does it take, the Governor running the state into a Bankruptcvy Court? As a democrat the voted for the current Governor I applaud his embracing this commissions recommendations. I have to say, I think the only way to clean the government(s) of this country is just to have a complete collapse. When the civil unrest/war is over, every elected position should have some term limits of some sort. At least a cooling off period where you can only run for two terms, then you have to wait two terms before you can run again.
