I did not know we were seeing suspect cases here. <BR/><BR/>I recommend beef lovers buy locally grown beef from farms they know that do not operate as huge feedlots that produce the cheap beef often purchased by fast food restaurants so they can sell an 89 cent burger.<BR/><BR/>And if you really want to learn a thing or two, read "Mad Cowboy" written by a life long cattle rancher. The fact is, we have 300,000,000 mouths to feed in this country alone. Another fact is that this is how the planet recycles itself. Mad Cow, Avian Flu, etc. will eventually be our downfall. That is just the way life is. Given that, it would be nice if the government could do good testing, but would it really make a difference? Who pays for the test? How much would a hamburger cost to implement a good testing system? However, MRI scans of the brain are almost always used as an exclusionary diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease (AD). A brain with AD appears atrophic on the scans, while a brain with CJD has spots in it. Four cases in Fort Wayne when one is expected would not necessarily be unusual. If you flipped a coin four times and got four heads, would you conclude the coin is fixed?
