Watch for those 2000 spots (Faris garage, etc) that the CIB can operate evenings and weekends and during events, to be turned over to the NFL for the super bowl in a deal similar to the Statehouse parking garage.

This isn't just about Rolls Royce. Its part of the City's deal with the NFL. Watch.

What makes you think anybody in Indiana has to follow a statute?

For gosh sakes I proved at least five felonies of contract and rico violations with governmental contracts and all I got was the courts cannot punish criminals.

At least these folks are giving away tax payers dollars instead of stealing them on this end.

Remember the good old boys in the Legislature that govern the statutes gave the money away on their end!!!!!

Take the information you have and as a group of lawyers solicit the above board Governor to do something about it. He is not running for President so he doesn't need the good old boys and has no excuse to not do the right thing.

However, no one will hold their breath that anyone in Indiana government understands anything about ethics or criminal statutes. The AG chases people with intimidation and threats so what good does it do to tell the CIB folks to behave themselves?

It doesn's matter, Paul. The CIB had no statutory authority to make a "loan" to the Pacers, which is how it deemed its $33.5 million gift to them. Moreover, the Indiana Constitution specifically prohibits a loan to a private corporation. The rule of law doesn't apply to the CIB. Their attorneys simply make up the rules as they go along because they know they can do it and get by with it.
