Thanks to Gary Neal&#39;s great idea to buy Columbia Gas (which has been one of the worst acquisitions in Indiana business history) NIPSCO would still own the water company. Beurt SerVaas had immense conflict of interests in the sale of the water company and if he wouldn&#39;t have been involved it would have gone under the trust with the gas company.
