Nytes was out to improve her own bank account. I don't know where the myth got started that she was some sort of a saint. She has been out for Jackie especially since Ballard took office. Andrews may have great credentials but she is a virtual unknown in party circles and that makes her a long, long shot. I also thought she was a republican.

Paul, Jackie was the biggest ringleader in the budget distortions during the Peterson administration. There is no sincerity there on her part at all. Knowledge used to manipulate and mislead is no badge of honor.

I agree totally with Gary. People talk about losing Nytes analytical ability on the budget. Pat Andrews is a step up from her with more candor. I know a lot of Republicans who would love to cross over and vote for her. I don't agree with her on everything, but I find her honesty and openness refreshing.

I have known Pat for around 10 years, and have attended many meetings where she asked pointed, thoughtful questions.
She is not one to let someone tell a big story with no facts to back it.
Both parties would be better off if she were around.
