It was especially telling that Kassig made no statement for Isis cameras, that the beheading itself was not shown on camera, neither his face. Although also shocking is the possibility we killed Kassig with our own bombs, perhaps that was a more merciful end, and perhaps we also denied Isis their brutal shock video. Of course the U.S. was quick to “confirm” the beheading account, but they probably were loathe to acknowledge a friendly fire incident, so the beheading likely seemed convenient.local landlordnoreply@blogger.com
