Oh, yeah, the cold case file not listed on the State Police's website. Sgt. Dan Bursten told me it was a mere oversight many months ago. It's still not listed. It's not because the State Police engaged in a coverup of the crime years ago and wants to leave the case just that--unsolved. That's a case the FBI should be taking a hard look at. It's clear that Grismore's killer(s) will never be brought to justice as long as it is left to the Indiana State Police.

Interesting that the Justice Department would look at theese blog post. I only wish somebody out there would take action! From what I know of Obama he will throw whoever he has to under the bus to save his own butt! And I am sure that he would go after Daniels and the state GOP to get revenge. My personal view is that an independent state special prosecutor should be requested by the St. Joseph Co. prosecutor. I don't think the Justice Department's involvement is necessary, although it is perfectly acceptable if Justice does investigate since it involved a campaign for federal office. I can tell you that I had multiple hits on my blog over a several day period this past week from the Justice Department's website in Washington logged in to my various blog posts on this topic.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Holcomb back down. If he continues to press this issue. I could just see federal investigations of FSSA, DWD, and other state agencies arising. Kip Tew isnt bluffing the admin in DC will crucify the state republicans if they press this too much.
