Brizzi's interview reminded me of Bill Clinton's press conference, denying the Monica Lewinski matter, when he declared that "now I need to get back to governing the country!" or something akin.

Brizzi defaults to the "we're going to focus on putting bad guys in jail" at awkward times in the interview. Too bad Gene Rodriguez doesn't know how to hang on like a pit-bull and keep asking the question until you get an answer.

I also wonder how his staff can focus on "putting bad guys in jail" when they are illegally busy researching and responding to the Durham matter and issuing press releases for him. Too bad Gene didn't ask him about that.

You would have to have your head in the toilet to describe this video as clever. It does give a clear picture of life that has been taught to the young Durham though: life is just one big party, influence can be bought, friends can be bought, politicians can be bought and crooked politicians hang out with scumbags.

Paul, You and I have a very different perspective on this. If I was a parent who spent that much money to send my kid to Park Tudor and that's the approach someone running for class president would use to get my kid to vote for him, I would be embarrassed, unless you like the idea of appealing to the lowest common denominator. Did Brizzi not appear drunk to you in that video? What an embarrassment. I'm sure he was hanging out drinking at Durham's house when that video was shot. Or was it on Durham's yacht?

I don't see a big deal about Tim Jr's campaign. Just a kid having fun with a school council election. I'm not offended by Brizzi's particpation in it either. Politics could use more humor.

It's the interview with the reporter I find troublesome. I do find it disturbing that Brizzi so willingly threw Motsinger under the bus. He seems to think he's somehow on a higher moral ground because Motsinger took money from Fair Finance, one of the companies under investgation. Brizzi though took money, $160,000, directly from the person who got his money from Fair Finance. How exactly is that better? If anyting, it's worse.

The whole interview raises red flags. One has to wonder where Brizzi has gotten the money to make the investments he has while on a government salary.
