Wilson, I'm still waiting on Marvin to explain what his conflict of interest from a few months back was. He said he couldn't recall why staff told him he should abstain from voting on a resolution when I asked him about it a week after the meeting. He isn't fit to hold a congressional seat, let alone chair this board, if his memory is that short.

Thanks to the Democrats for showing up and Mr. DeMars for requesting more time to deliberate this quagmire. It's indeed analogous to our backroom deal "health reform", placating "big players" instead of helping the 85% of America begging for help with skyrocketing medical costs.

A transfer of city water management demands we also have to tackle sidewalk improvements and housing foreclosures within the same resolution? With 30-year bonds for approximately 10-year repairs? As voted on by council that still represents present water management in their day job?

Please explain- how are taxpayers served with sound accountability, simplicity, and frugality in this deal?
