Anon., Moores has already effectively been re-elected. There is no primary race because there is the exact number of candidates on the Republican primary ballot that are to be elected as Republicans this fall. Her only race was at the slating convention in early February where one candidate lost and agreed not to run in the primary.

I've still not heard any mention of DCS in any of these discussions. It would seem to me that DCS should become involved when you have a serial juvenile offender who continues to be placed back in the custody of the same adults who seem unable to provide proper supervision.

I am all about placing blame where it is due, but reading this thread, it looks like the Juvenile Court Judge is clearly covering up her own non-feasance!!!

Probation Officers are Officers of The Court! They work for The Judge.

If it were true that: "The judge in charge of Marion County's juvenile court, Marilyn Moores, told Tuohy that she had "complained vociferously" about McDonald's failure to request Adams' arrest in light of the repeated probate violations. “I expressed my extreme concern to probation (department) about the handling of this case,” Moores said. “When I saw there had been nine violations I was very concerned and upset.”"

I have some questions:

1) If the Judge knew of these violations, why didn't she ACT? -The report appears as if she knew there was a serious problem (probable) and ignored the problem!

2) If the Judge felt the Probation Officer was not doing his job, why didn't she fire him?
