I wish I would have printed off what Ballard said about running for Mayor again when he was running the first time. If I recall he said if he was unable to keep taxes from rising, unable to get balanced budgets, have transparent government and have the moral at IMPD high he would not run again.

I wish I would have printed it off. We'd see how much Honor he has when he does run again, breaking his word.

We will see how strong of a man Ballard is by him ...

He is a true disappointment. I am disappointed I voted for him. He has done nothing for this City except continue the Tax and Spend mentality, which he promised not to. He has not lived up to his word at all.

People need to remember the saying "A Man is only as good as their word."

Again, the question should be asked why our Republican Mayor continues to take the fall for things that happened during the Peterson administration. Time and time again, he does that.

My guess? It's because he's protecting the power brokers in the city, the big corporate interests and their benefactors...the peoople who have always run this city regardless of whether a R or D wins the mayorship. He's a fool for doing so because all it is doing is ensuring a big D win in 2011. The fact is the Tom Johns, Bob Grands and Joe Loftuses of the world do not care one whit if the Mayor is re-elected.
