The Democrats also have a revolving door 'justice' system that is a joke! Look, the prosecutor gets his budget cut by Dems, and told he better stop prosecuting criminals...then the judges give the criminals soft sentences....then the community corrections staff cannot monitor them...then the probation and parole officers are told NOT to violate them unless they get a new felony conviction (even if a gun is found in their bedroom).

Democrats are The Evil Empire! They are destroying everything that Indianapolis was!!!

Teen pregnancy? Abortion on demand? Illegal gambling (how'd 'Swea Pea' get his name)? Political patronage (how'd 'Swea Pea' get an appointed rank and "make-work, do-nothing" job with the fire department and a city car?

Crime like this only exists where Democrats gut the justice system & police to spend money on their rich cronies and other interests....(pea shakes, prostitution, bars in government buildings, NFL team new stadium, NBA team, billionaire property developers, etc).

When thousands of crime reports sit unentered into the data base, the sheriff cannot give out accurate stats about anything. When the Sheriff's Dept took over IPD, the crime analysis unit was gutted. Experienced personnel who collected and relayed essential crime stat information to the street officers were thrown out the door. There are no reliable crime stats anymore. The Sheriff likes it that way.

Word on the street is that if your a small dealer peddling drugs you won't get jail time and are out within hours of arrest.
Other criminals are getting bail reduced to $10K and walk immediately after arrest.
In other words, Indianapolis is wide open for criminal activity now. A street over from home there were two crack house busted that were back in operation within two days after the bust with the same people dealing.
The good news is that we don't have overcrowding at the jail.

I went into the White Castle at Washington St and Lasalle St yesterday to get some sliders and there was a man sitting at a table with a home detention monitor strapped to his ankle.

What happens when The Democrat Machine taxes and spends for stadiums, gives tax abatements to the rich campaign contributors but will not replace retiring police officers and does not hire police for 2 years?

What happens when liberal Democrats don't build enough jail spaces so criminals are turned loose with impunity? What happens when those on probation, parole, home detention are caught in violation and liberal Democrats tell the probation, parole and community corrections not to violate them unless they get convicted of a felony?

Liberal tax and spend Democrats just don't get it. They'll have a martini at the Conrad Hilton, protected by a police body guard (regular citizens don't get personal protection from police) then walk to a catered suite at an NFL game, after the game they'll get into their luxurious city-owned car and go home.
