I do not know anything about “Stand for Children,” but I am familiar with the record of Mary Ann Sullivan.
Ms. Sullivan broke with Pat Bauer and the teacher lobby to support Republican education reform in the 2011 Legislature. Although Ms. Sullivan is a teacher by profession, the teacher lobby went out of its way to endorse her opponent, Republican Brent Waltz, in 2012.
I cannot think of a politician that I would trust more than Mary Ann Sullivan.

Indiana and Indianapolis in particular must appear to have the look of ancient Rome in 455 CE when the Vandals descended upon it. The Vandals looted the City of Rome for 14 days. The Vandals had been preceded in 410 CE by the Goths in sacking and looting Rome. The once vaunted Roman Military Machine was a hollow echo of it's former self.

Everything must appear to these modern Barbarians the tribe of Crony-Capitalists in Central Indiana as ripe for the plucking. The list seems almost endless of schemes and deals legal or not that our Political Leadership eagerly engages in. The Democrats and Republicans are like the ancient Goths and Vandals different names but the goal is the same.

Our Judicial System stands by and watches the pillage. Sadly it seems there is no one who is looking out for the people.
