While I was eating lunch yesterday, the restaurant's TV was playing CNN. There seemed to be an extraordinarily large amount of coverage over the racist remarks by Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy. For some reason, every time Bundy's picture was shown, the screen caption read "Cliven Bunker", an obvious reference to Norman Leir's racist Archie Bunker character. After about 10 minutes, the image was finally corrected with his proper name.

For some reason, despite its dismal ratings, every TV in a public place always seems to be tuned to CNN rather than Fox or another station.

This story dove tails nicely with your previous blog on the cover-up by the Local Media of the GIPC scandal. I suspect at this point the Local Media is coming up with a cover story on the goings on at GIPC. You know the storyline a bad apple, etc. etc. The conclusion by the Mega-Media will be GIPC consists of Good Community Leaders and one "bad apple."

I briefly watched Chicagoland and dismissed it as self serving promotion for Rahm Emmanual. Emmanuel's sudden new wealth through investment banking has a parallel in Ukraine, i.e., the sudden wealth of their oligarchs.

Last week I watched one of CNN's "Empty Suits" interviewing a person on crisis in Ukraine. The person being interviewed was intelligent and well versed on situation in Europe. The "Empty Suit" was obviously taken aback when the person did not parrot EU-USA-NATO talking points about the Russian Danger to world peace. The "Empty Suit" was reduced to a ineffectual rebuttal of repeating US Propaganda.

Thus, I think it is safe to conclude given the members list of GIPC which includes most of our Local Media we will not read about Crony-Capitalism in Indianapolis. Our local Mega-Media functions in the same way Pravda did during the days of the Soviet Union. GIPC, functions as our local Bilderberg Group.
