It is a long standing practice of politicians to leave funds in the banks of political donors. That is why bankers donate to political races Harold is still an employee at the BMV because he was loyal. Both parties have been leaving taxpayer money in bank accounts paying no interest since Indiana went bankrupt in the Great Canal Scandal. Harold may have sounded slow in the interview; but, he is not stupid. He did what he was told and I would be surprised if he did anything illegal. I found him to be competent, professional, and he appeared to be honest in all of his dealings with me. I am unaware of any contrary findings by the Indiana State Board of Accounts.
