Last week Senator Lugar issued a ignorant smear of Ron Paul Paul, because of the congressman's foreign policy. I wish that Indiana could recall Lugar for his treasonous yea vote to the NDAA, which Montanas are now campaigning to do to their two eenators, for this same reason, I wish them success.

His views on Israel, like many of his other views, have been highly distorted by his political opponents. For every damning thing they are now saying about Ron Paul, I can find similar negative twists Reagan's opponents put on his views back in 1980. If you believed the propagandist back then, you would have believed that Reagan was an uncaring, uneducated, anti-Semitic bigot and a racist who was certain to launch a preemptive nuclear strike at the drop of a pin.

I'm actually surprised you support him. His foreign policy is total isolationism and he has referred to Israel as an "apartheid state." While I agree with him on that, most Republican primary voters would find such a statement repulsive.

Ron Paul needs supporters to come to Iowa on January 3 to give two minute speeches at the Caucus. Particularly they need us in Bettendorf (Davenport). It is about a six hour drive. There is a group from Illinois going too.

Let me know if you (or anyone else) wants to go. I am in direct contact with his campaign and have the details.

I was in Iowa over Christmas and the only yard signs I saw were for Ron Paul.

I do think it is particularly impressive to see people from other states drive in at their own expense to give speeches to Ron Paul.

Also, there is a money bomb going until the end of the month. The campaign needs to raise another $2 million for additional media buys in Iowa and NH.

Unlike Obama's campaign, you have to state your full name, your job, and your employer in order to donate.
