Perhaps I missed it but the Democrats seem to be Silent on this deal. Any comment from Smoking Joe Hogsett on this?? There are people who are critical of this deal but our government has duct-taped their mouths closed.

I pay Ray's about $50 a year for curb side Recycling. If I decide to stop Recycling with Ray's I am not aware of any penalty I would have to pay.

Hell, yeah, you vote for that stuff. Tully may be complaining about that contract, or not. Perhaps the point of all the noise was to remind everyone what they get if they stay on the team.

I was so angry when I read this post that I stopped composing my comment comment because I needed to calm down. The first question that came to mind when reading of this deal was to exactly how many persons are on the Public Works Board and who are they? I went to http://www.indy.gov/eGov/City/DPW/Board/Pages/boardofpublicworkshome.aspx. At that link: Lori Miser, Chair; Robert Parrin, Laura Sniadecki, Dennis Rosebrough, John Charleston, Gregory Garrett, and Neil Bloede. Except for the latter member on the list who offers only an email address and a telephone number, for the others you will find street addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses.
