Gov. Daniels promised at the time that all of the revenues from the regional tax would be used to pay down the debt unlike Hudnut&#39;s original food and beverage tax. Again, it was sold as a tax that would go away once the debt was paid off, but I can assure you that it will never go away. Gary R. If the Colts beat San Francisco, Indianapolis is therefore better than San Francisco.<br /><br />America would be better off without professional sports teams and the shallow tribal thinking such sports engender.<br /><br />If we couldn&#39;t pay off $40 million of stadium debt, how are we going to pay off $800 million of new stadium debt, especially when we allow Irsay to capture all the revenues for everything that occurs inside the new stadium, while we also pay for utilities and maintenance?<br /><br />How is a plan that fudges such accounting facts anything but criminal fraud?
