HEI, the Star article on Litebox was only on line. They did not include even a mention of the story in the print edition. I know because the Star accidentally left a paper today at my house. (I had cancelled all but the Sunday edition a few weeks ago.)

There are plenty of LiTEBOX(es) around, but that doesn't deter from the facts. The company exists, it does business, but this LiTEBOX, from my research, is a product of Panasonic.

I can't find any information on what they actually do... and you won't find this in the media announcements either!

The website contains an investor-seeking trailer (no pun intended) so maybe it's some form of mobile advertising technology.
