It tends to be a law that is rather arbitrarily enforced. The big thing is though, I&#39;d much rather those drunks walk home than drive. PI arrests can actually encourage people to get behind a wheel to avoid being seen walking drunk. <br /><br />I&#39;d rather bust them for an act like public urination or disorderly conduct than simply being intoxicated in public.Paul K.
