The Democrats were all over AJ Feeney-Ruiz as he tried to walk the delicate line of serving as Charlie White's SOS spokesman and commenting on his ongoing legal issues to reporters. I don't think he ever crossed the line, but it didn't stop him from being attacked by the Democrats. Like I said, the rules that apply to Republicans don't apply to Democrats.

Hogsett would be wise to yank Cook's Twitter account ASAP. The man is Hogsett's spokesman. Does Cook not know that he no longer speaks as an individual? Doesn't Hogsett know that Cook brings discredit to the office when he says things like that. I agree that mocking the commission offelonies is never a good idea for a U.S. Attorney spokesman.

As far as the signatues, I'm not terribly surprised. I'd bet you'd find that every one of those petitions contained fraudulent signatures. We may be talking about the extent of the fraud and who was behind it. Still it's never good to treat felonies so nonchalantly.
