In this current period of a money shortage, with all city departments being asked to cut 5% of their budget, police being at the lowest staffing levels in modern history, and violent crime taking place...where an elderly man having morning coffee in his kitchen is brutally murdered in a home invasion, I hardly think it's time to spend $6M on a sports park to offer Cricket.

Where is Ballard's priority? Certainly public safety is really low on that list.
