The truth of the matter is that because of careless dog owners not taking the responsibility to train their dogs; and or abusing there dogs, and training them to be fighting dogs we have given this breed that reputation. Pitbulls are strong dogs and like any other dog require training and selective breeding. The dog breed shouldn't be branded with this reputation. I have worked with many pitbulls over the course of many years and never have I met one that was geneticly predisposed to being dangerous. I have seen them become as any other dog (or human) defensive after being abused.
