Does Joe have ties to Frank Short? Not his real last name? He had to change it for legal reasons? ( Chicago) What has been Frank Shorts involvement with Micro Vote and eltronic voting machines? Has this ever been looked into by the D.O.J. or F.B.I or was it just swept under the rug?

Hmm, not sure if I'd trust him with my money, but maybe as a whistleblower he might be alright. Thanks for checking. I still wonder what his connection to the downtown insider-slayer is, though. The attorneys, engineers, construction magnates, and concrete masters are easier to figure out. The bond and swap angle is probably the best guess. It looks like he's an out-and-about Catholic and as a dem I'm sure Hogsett is pro-abortion (doesn't make diff in mayor race) so that $20K was the one that caught my eye the most. Incidentally, the lawsuits between JP Morgan and Esposito occurred after he and another JP Morgan employee, Matthew Green, left JP Morgan to go to work for UBS. The first lawsuit accused the two of breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of loyalty, conversion, and unfair competition. They were accused of poaching clients and taking steps to liquidate clients' accounts to facilitate transferring their funds to UBS--supposedly without the clients' knowledge in some cases. That case was quickly resolved and dismissed. In August of this year, Esposito filed suit against JP Morgan, UBS, Jon Ramey and J. Albert Smith over an incident that occurred at Meridian Hills Country Club. Defendants were accused of disparagement, defamation and threats he said had been going on since 2013. He mentions his cooperation in a FINRA investigation and state securities division. He claims whistle blower status. That lawsuit was quickly dismissed as well.

Democrat Joe Hogsett is silent when questioned about his promise to the Marion County voting taxpayers about being "against" downtown insiders and the crony deals that follow them.

I'm not really tied into the elite circles in which Mr. Esposito runs. Don't know what the lawsuits were about, but I thought his previous employers were among those investment firms that cost the City of Indianapolis a boat load of money from those swap bond agreements that should be outlawed. He's the CFA for Washington & Scoville--a wealth management firm. From their website:

Gary, I spent far too much time perusing the donor list linked in Tully's article. A Frank Espisito, Investor, gave the piddling sum of $20K. Had me intrigued so googled him. Looks like he sued or is being sued by former employers JP Morgan and UBS. Do you have insight or access to the lawsuit?

Too little too late Tully, most of the column was about Hogshitt's vision. Great he can see, the question is what is Joe going to do for the neighborhoods?? I suspect anything he does will have a near overdose of Corporate Welfare and Crony-Capitalism. The issue of Crony-Capitalism and Corporate Welfare is the third rail topic in our News Media - do not touch it.
