When someone registers, it is cross-referenced with the statewide list if I&#39;m not mistaken. A person is removed from the old precinct once they register at a new address. Being registered to vote in different states, however, is very easy to accomplish and is a real weakness in the current voting system nationally.Gary R. Many signatures can&#39;t be validated because the voter is still registered at an old address, even though they now reside in a new district. I&#39;ve not seen much evidence of people being registered in more than one precinct.
