Pence Booed At Indians Home Opener

Gov. Mike Pence didn't receive a very warm welcoming from some Indianapolis Indians fans when he threw out the first pitch at the season's home opener yesterday evening. The video was recorded by Linday Watson.

Just what he deserves. He's been a crappy Governor. He stands for the most ridiculous things. He makes Indiana look stupid and backward. I voted for Ballard. I voted for McCain. I like sensible, business like Republicans and guys with a lot of military experience. But Pence is awful. All he stands for is his particular brand of Christianity, and it doesn't look anything like mine. I support inclusiveness and love. Not this hate agenda against the gay people. Doesn't Pence know we all have gay children and family members and people we work with that we care about. Does he want us to look like fracking Alabama and Mississippi and North Carolina and make it so Christians can turn them away from restaurants and deny them the ability to adopt and turn them into hated, second class citizens. I hate the guy. I lived in California during Ronald Reagan and loved the guy. Mike Pence is no Ronald Reagan and I will vote for the Democrat for Governor. I'm not surprised he got booed at Victory Field. I go there all the time, and its a welcoming crowd. Not at all like the band of hate filled losers Pence hangs with. Screw him. Sounds like Indiana is finally wising up to Pence. All Bible brimstone. No heart.

Yet they all stood in unison like the films from the Third Reich to sing the National Anthem, celebrating the most bellicose and controlling empire in history. Good little citizens.

I saw a picture of John Gregg recently he looked like a giant cream puff with a Moustache. Other than voting against Pence, Gregg has been a big zero, ditto for Baron Hill. The Democratic Party in this state has no beating heart.

He's not a murderer. He hasn't been caught sexting or wearing some leather collar get up. He doesn't curse or appear drunk in public. Regardless of whether you greatly disagree with him on policy, he should be shown respect for the office he holds. I mourn the loss of civility and manners in our culture.

Hey eat me Eric Morris, why don't you shut up with your third reich comparisons, this was baseball, All American baseball, and full of hard working, average guys with their families or friends out having fun. And if they booed the crappy, unpopular Governor then so be it. Democracy and public opinion at work. Your stupid comments get dumber and dumber. "Controlling empire" huh. What planet are you from dumbass? Indians game. Baseball. Nobody stood "in unison like the films from the third reich to sing the national anthem." Piss off, idiot.

Personally, if I don't like someone I usually am busy digging in my purse or looking at my phone, but I am polite - unlike some of the comments here. now children, stop your name calling.

Can't you find a better way to disagree than just name calling and being ugly?

it looks like all 7 fans made a noise. Hey, Sperg0KKKrats, how many did you pay to protest?

Did you at least pay them 15 an hour?

Anon 839, why be so ugly? Why not be civil? Why not quote, "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

Pence isn't being "civil". Look at his hate filled actions. That's not civil. This is what they think about us in civil places:

Add Los Angeles to the lengthy boycott of North Carolina and Mississippi list:

The North Carolina law “overturns all state protections for gay and lesbians and puts new discrimination on the books,” according to Councilman Mike Bonin, who proposed the resolution that was approved on a 12-0 vote. Bonin said the Mississippi law allows rental car businesses to turn away gay couples, and allows for suicide hotline counselors to refuse to help people who are gay.

Bonin said under the boycott, the city would avoid doing business with the two governments and put a ban on city employees making official visits to the states until the two laws are repealed. “When the state sanctions hatred and the state endorses discrimination, hatred and discrimination increases,” creating a “climate of intolerance and a climate of violence,” Bonin said.

Los Angeles joins other cities like New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Honolulu, Cincinnati, Santa Fe, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco, as well as the states of Connecticut, Minnesota, New York and Vermont in the boycott of North Carolina.

Agree the Pence is two-faced and that the guys he hangs with politically hate gays, and also think he is kind of religion dumb and sees everything thru his rose colored christian glasses, without thinking that most people aren't like that and don't want to live in a world run by church doctrine.
