The Fix Taps Indiana's Three Best State Political Blogs
The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza has added three Indiana blogs to his list of best state political blogs, including Frugal Hoosiers, Indiana Barrister and Advance Indiana. Cillizza's blog The Fix has become a popular political blog on the national front. I had the opportunity to sit on a panel discussion with Cillizza at a Howey Politics forum in 2007. Cillizza early on figured out that Indiana would become a battleground state in the 2008 presidential race. View his full list of best political blogs here. Hat tip to Frugal Hoosiers for catching this news and congratulations to both Frugal Hoosiers and Indiana Barrister.

Congrats Gary (and FH and Barrister).
These are all conservative blogs. None of the liberal blogs made the cut?
Congrats Gary. No one tops the original information you bring to the table.
I get disappointed with Frugal Hoosiers sometimes as it's not that objective. I like blogs that are willing to criticize both sides. I don't get that impression from FH.
Although he is sometimes too closely allgned with the powers that be in the city and will take an occasional crack at me, usually indirectly, I think Abdul does a better job of being more balanced in his approach on his blog, Indiana Barrister.
Congratulations!
That was pretty classy to give kudos to Indiana Barrister after the mean things he said about you recently. Thanks for taking the high road. You deserve the honors, and I hope to eventually see Paul Ogden's blog go national. You guys both rock!
Abdul loves a good brawl, Diana. It peeks people's interest.
It also PIQUES their interest.
Thanks for the correction, Art. You know that'something Wilson would do, don't you?
I hope I didn't come across as too critical of FH. It's a very good blog. The layout and content is strong. I just wish it would show a little more independence - be willing to criticze anyone who screws up, regardless of political party.
Congrats - and you notice Rich Miller over at Capitol Fax got a nod also.
Yes, I did, Mike. If you read Rich's blog daily, you'll know all you need to know about Illinois politics.
