Civil Discourse In Jordan
A Jordanian member of Parliament, Mohammed Shawabka, is shown in the video above debating a political opponent during a TV appearance. As the debate grows heated, Shawabka first throws a shoe at the opponent before pulling a gun on him. The activist does not back down even after Shawabka drew the gun. Shawabka apparently became angry when the activist accused him of being on the payroll of the Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency. No shots were fired.
