More On Hurricane Sandy Response

High-rise federal housing projects in New York City remain without power after a week. You can imagine how bad conditions would become in a high-rise building without power for that period of time--no elevators operating, no emergency lighting, no running water or heat of any sort. Why the government hasn't brought generators to power these buildings is anyone's guess.
