Gannett's bosses in Langley like their lists, and the former State House investigative reporter Tom LoBianco has another list for us. This week it's lucky number 7 to describe the things that will most be remembered about the 2015 legislative session.
1. You won't be surprised that RFRA, the manufactured story Gannett used to advance its gay rights agenda topped the list. Gannett's gay rights agenda, by the way, has nothing to do with protecting gays from discrimination; it's all about emasculating men.
2. The discussion of Mike Pence's presidential ambitions, or the lack thereof courtesy of Gannett, comes in second.
3. Another Gannett made-up story dealing with Pence's JustIn state news service is next on the list.
4. Using children as political pawns comes in fourth, as if everything the Star writes isn't skewed for that very purpose to advance the interests of the education profiteers for which it pimps all of the time.
5. Ethics reform advanced by House Republicans comes in fifth. LoBianco brings up issues it raised about State Rep. Bob Behning attempting to work for an education profiteer and legislation pushed by State Rep. Eric Koch, which could benefit oil and gas interests in which he's invested. There's no mention of the biggest public corruption scandal this session: How Ersal Ozdemir bought off the Indiana General Assembly to get a publicly-financed stadium for his Indy Eleven minor league soccer team. Gee, I wonder why?
6. The Mike Pence versus Glenda Ritz battle for control over education comes in sixth.
7. Finally, the Justin Moed sexting scandal with Sydney Leathers comes in seventh, a story The Star begrudgingly had to write about because Moed is one of its favorite cake boys who was helping Ozdemir get his new soccer stadium that Gannett wants built at any cost.
How does any self-respecting journalist go from hard-hitting investigative journalism to putting out this dribble for public consumption?

fortunately no other media carried these stories
This is an interesting analysis of the Gannett list. I am wondering about the gay rights issue and its relationship to emasculating men. Would you please clarify for those of us unaware of the connection? Thanks.
Maybe he was given a Charlie White deal? Either play ball at Gannett and have a nice house, car and family, or we'll destroy you.
They'll probably drag out his investigative skills if they have someone they want to attack.

Gary, I would also appreciate a little more on how the supposed "gay rights" agenda is really a sneak attack on masculinity.
Dave Chappelle hits the nail on the head in his interview about how Hollywood expects every leading male actor to cross-dress almost as a rite of passage to bigger and better things. Gender bending is the theme of pop culture today, which is heavily influenced by government propaganda machines. The Bruce Jenner sex change drama is the latest prime example of this. The overarching goal seems to be to rub out any distinction between genders.
"every" is kind of extreme, don'cha think? Just off the top o'me head ...
Tom Hanks and some other dude back in the 1970's (Bosom Buddies)
Dustin Hoffman (Tootsie - 1980's)
Robin Williams (Mrs. Doubtfire - 1990's)
The three guys who played in Wong Foo
and even though he's not Hollywood - Brendan O'Connor (Mrs. Brown's Boys - Current)
Bruce Jenner is just looking for his extra 10 minutes of fame when his came and went almost 40 years ago.
You're missing a lot. Jimmy Fallon, Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, Kurt Russell, James Franco, Johnny Depp, John Travolta, Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, Guy Pearce, Jamie Foxx, Jude Law, Martin Lawrence, Matt LeBlanc, Nathan Lane, Wayans Brothers, Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, William Defoe, Jared Leto, Will Smith, Tracy Morgan, John Lithgow, John Goodman. Should I go on?
