Thompson Still Looking For Number Two
As Democratic gubernatorial nominee Jill Long Thompson works to set up her campaign's state headquarters in Indianapolis and to find a running mate, Gov. Mitch Daniels picks up a big union endorsement from the Professional Firefighters. WTHR's Kevin Rader says Thompson is focusing on six choices and, no, Jim Schellinger is not one of them. Those reportedly under consideration for the Lt. Governor slot include Evansville Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel, Representative Trent Van Haaften from Mt Vernon, Representative Dennis Oxley from English, Former Speaker of the House John Gregg and Lake County Sheriff Roy Dominguez.
