- Hazardous material spill reported in Raccoon Lake, Parke County. IDEM personnel on scene.
- I-70 in Clay County briefly re-opened, and then closed again to traffic due to flood damage. INDOT on scene.
- I-65 re-opened to traffic, floodwaters have receded from roadway.
- Record flooding reported on the East Fork of the White River.
- River levels in Vigo, Morgan and Johnson have crested and are slowly receding.
- State damage assessment teams completed inspections in 12 counties.
- IURC reports 217 cases (5,322 customers) still out as of 2:00 p.m. on June 8, 2008.
Duke Energy advises that approximately 1800 residents are without power in Morgan County. - NOAA reports a storm system will develop and be moving towards an area northwest of Indianapolis Monday afternoon and becoming widespread rain Monday night (1-3 inches possible).

Fact Sheet On Great Flood Of 2008
The Indiana Department of Homeland Security put out this extremely informative fact sheet this afternoon on the recent flooding and storm damage in the state. It is important to note that the information was released just as a new line of thunderstorms was moving across central Indiana dumping heavy rain. The extent of road closures throughout the affected areas is staggering. Here are the highlights of the relief efforts to date:
