Just as Vice President Joe Biden was speaking in Louisville today, GE's President of its Lighting and Appliances division, Jim Campbell, fell off his chair as Biden uttered the words, "A country that does not innovate, stagnates." Biden can be heard asking for a doctor after Campbell fell off the stage. Over the weekend, Biden made news when he told a custard store owner who had just given him a free custard to stop being a smart ass after the store owner asked him to lower his taxes.
