Only Two Health Insurance Companies Offering Health Plans On ACA Exchange In Marion County
InfoWars provides access to an Excel Spreadsheet that allows you to see the monthly premium rates offered on the Affordable Care Act's exchanges nationwide. I checked the offering in Marion County, which is very limited. Only Anthem and MDwise are offering health insurance plans on the exchange to people living in Indianapolis. The monthly premium rates for young adults range from a low of about $224 for a bronze plan to as high as $393 for a gold plan. For adults 50 and over the monthly premiums range from a low of about $382 for a bronze plan to as high as $670 for a gold plan. Family plans run from as low as $757 for a bronze plan to as high as $1,329 for a gold plan.

On the private Indiana exchange online I found a Humana policy with a $6350 deductible (100% coverage after that) for $420 a month, which is 40% of what I pay now.
So for me, with a couple pre existing conditions, I am going to save a lot of frikkin money. I hope they go after the healthy 20 and 30 something deadbeats who dont get insurance so I can keep this rate. Jail time would be too good for them.
I live in Johnson county. Here is the site.

On the Indiana HIX online site, I found an ACA compliant $6350 deductible (100% coverage over that) for a monthly premium of $420. This is 40% of what I pay now. It is an off exchange policy thought Humana. I live in Johnson County. If I lived in Marion County, the same policy would be $427 a month.

Sure, you can "trust" website information from an administration that claims healthcare is a right... Or is it a tax? Both claims are the result of a pre-existing condition...
Remember...off-Exchange plans will be available. Rates and other specifics should be released shortly.
What the ACA site does not tell you is the hospitals and physicians in network. The Anthem product only offers Wishard and Community.
"Off-Exchange" plans will often feature bigger networks and sometimes (not always) lower rates. If you don't qualify for a subsidy, they should be considered.
Indianainsurancehealth.com is the best resource for healthcare plans in Indiana. Yes, I am a bit biased but in my 32 years in the business, this resource works for me.
