14-Year Old Victim Of Jared Fogle Speaks Out

A girl identifying herself as Analissa is speaking out on the Dr. Phil show about how she was sexually abused by former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle when she was just 14 years old. The interview with the teen-aged victim is scheduled to run on the Dr. Phil show next week. The girl, now 16, says she was initially groomed and manipulated by Fogle's good friend, Russell Taylor, who has pleaded guilty to multiple felony child pornography charges and is awaiting sentencing next month along with Fogle.

Analissa said she decided to come forward with her story after she heard the recordings an FBI informant, Rochelle Herman-Walrond, secretly made of conversations between her and Fogle over a four and a half year period. Fogle told Herman-Walrond about his attraction to young boys and girls and asked her to place a hidden camera in her own daughter's room, telling her the two could make "a really good team."

A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office, Timothy Horty, declined to tell the Daily Mail when and how federal authorities acquired the recordings made by Herman-Walrond with Fogle. 'They were not part of our initial investigation - and it wasn't part of the infancy of any of it," Horty said. "We are aware of what they had to say and we took the recordings into account, but that's as much as I can say about it."

Horty admitted the U.S. Attorney's Office didn't take into account her years of recordings when entering into the plea agreement with Fogle, which critics argue is too lenient. He could serve as little as five years in prison for having sex with two underage girls for money, Herman-Walrond claims she believes Fogle abused at least 14 children. This blog has questioned why federal prosecutors waited so long to prosecute Fogle if Herman-Walrond had been recording conversations for the FBI for four and a half years, a period which included the tenure of Mayor-elect Joe Hogsett, who campaigned about his crackdown on people who sexually exploited children as federal prosecutor.

I'm so ashamed Fogle lived in Indiana. I wish you would stop talking about him.

I am so glad that Dr. Phil is giving Annallia a forum and hope other victims accept his offer to cover their stories, and that he is properly asking why Fogle is not being prosecuted for all the crimes he comitted against children.

We need not stop talking about Fogle, no matter how vile this subject is.

This is why. AT MINIMUM, on in four children are sexually abused and have no one to protect them. Many of these children are victimized by public leaders and politicians. It is RAMPANT in Washington DC and in political circles.

I was one of those abused children. I was never really functional as an adult because of it. It was not until I went into therapy in my 40's and started to tackle "my issues" that I got better. My therapist told me to start talking about it with friends and that is where I started. I lost some friends because of it. They couldn't handle the filthy subject and knew my abuser who some chose to believe over me. Losing friends devastated me.

Do you know what it is like to not be believed?

That year I started to talk was one of the hardest years of my life. I cried almost constantly that entire year as the toxic poison came out like the puss of a huge festering boil.

You will not see me shut up on this subject AT ALL. I will beat this drum until we get answers on why Hogsett sat on evidence of Jared's pedophillia for four years, allowing other children to be abused. I want to know why IBJ can't get a FOIA request for Hogsett's records.

Thanks Gary for beating this drum. I'm right there with you. And I hope that by me standing up and talking about this subject so openly other childhood sexual abuse survivors will as well. Because being in sunshine is our only chance to become healed from it.

So Anonymous? If you don't like it, look away. I will not go away and neither will Gary on this subject.

You have my sympathy Melyssa. I did not know that IBJ is trying to get that FOIA request, and am so glad to know this.
