Former Center Township Small Claims Court Judge Barred From Serving As Judge Again
The Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications released a statement today reporting an agreement it reached with former Center Township Small Claims Court Judge Michelle Scott under which Scott has agreed not to serve as a judge again. Scott abruptly resigned her judicial position on September 11 after Call 6's Kara Kenney reported on court resources being used to benefit a private marriage business operated by Scott and her husband. The Commission launched an investigation following Kenney's report. The Commission ended its investigation of Scott's marriage business under the terms of the agreement it reached with Scott.

Kara has much work in front of her. Proud day for her and wrtv. Now focus on Boone County.
More unethical conduct from a Democrat in Center Twp government! It is obvious that unethical and criminal conduct is out of control in Center Twp.
Eliminate townships in Indiana as the Commission on Local Government Reform recommended.
THANK YOU
-Kara Kenney
While she can't even get Senior Judge assignments, she can still practice law as a private attorney?
I believe the Judicial Qualifications Commission's jurisdiction is limited to what its name applies--your qualification to serve as a judge in Indiana. If it concerns your ability to practice law in this state, then it falls under the jurisdiction of the Disciplinary Commission.
