Former Hamilton Co. Township Trustee Files To Run For Indianapolis Mayor

According to latest candidate filing information with the Marion Co. Clerk's Office, Terry Michael has filed to run as a Republican candidate for mayor. Michael is a real estate broker for F.C. Tucker and formerly served as the Fall Creek Township Trustee in Hamilton County. In 2008, Michael unsuccessfully opposed State Sen. Beverly Gard (R-Greenfield) as an openly gay candidate in the Republican primary. Michael resides in Washington Township. Jocelyn-Tandy Adande is the only other candidate to file on the Republican side so far.
