If Barnes & Thornburg partner Peter Rusthoven makes it to the final three nominated by the Commission for consideration by Gov. Pence, you can take it to the bank that he will be named the next member of the Indiana Supreme Court. Regardless, the Commission has an impressive list of applicants to consider. Initial interviews are scheduled to take place on February 17-19. A second round will take place on March 3-4. Justice Dickson plans to step down on April 29, 2016.

I guess people didn't know that Mr. Pence has, and recently so, appointed a Democrat to an open judge position. So, displaying that sort of open mind ought to lead to submissions from any number of Democrat judges of whom there are plenty of qualified persons of high integrity.
Judge Nation is without a doubt the best judge out there.
Surprised you didn't see Hammond's Mayor Thomas McDermott Jr on the list, but the Tom really wouldn't know anything about following the law and he would have to give up the campaign fund as we know it today.
