Tennessee Trey's Dad Funding Super PAC
The Indiana Jobs Now Super PAC that has been spending money in Indiana's 9th District to support political newcomer Trey Hollingsworth and oppose one of his primary opponents, Attorney General Greg Zoeller, is being financed entirely by Hollingsworth's father, Joe Hollingsworth, Jr., a Clinton, Tennessee native. According to a new filing the PAC made with the FEC, the elder Hollingsworth has contributed $370,000 to Indiana Jobs Now. Trey Hollingsworth has publicly claimed he did not know who was behind Indiana Jobs Now. Congressional candidates, by law, are not allowed to coordinate their campaigns with political action committee that make expenditures on their behalf. They all do it, and they are lying to say otherwise. Trey Hollingsworth, a multi-millionaire businessman like his father, has been self-financing his campaign to date. He rented an apartment in Jeffersonville last fall about the time he decided to run for Congress in the 9th District. His 9th District primary race will be the first time he has cast a ballot in an Indiana election.

Gary, I thibk you excluded a word from junior's description, "self-made". Oh wait, it's not hard to be a millionaire when daddy pays for everything...
Great post Gary. People like this make me sick. this scum bag is not self made he's just another member of the lucky sperm club born into money and status. And like Hilary who won a senate seat in a state she did not truly reside, Hollingsworth aims to do the same in southern Indiana. Disgusting.
It is not like he would be the first to ever do so in Indiana. It might be a good contest to attempt, that is, name all the people who have run for office in Indiana using mostly out of state donors...
Daddy. Daddy. I want to be a Congressman, Daddy. Daddy, will you buy me a seat in the House of Representatives? Please, Daddy? I am comforted by the fact that asteroids like Trey Hollingsworth will be the first to be hanged when the peasants have finally had enough of this nonsense.
Indiana politicians love carpet baggers, just look at Lugar and Coats! this guy has money, and he is an establishment guy, Zoller doesn't have a Chinamans chance in hell of winning this nomination! Thanks again Indiana Republicans!
Zoeller is a party yes man. You could train a monkey to press the button. He refused to take action against republican office holders who broke laws.
He had a fine role model like Jefferson Shreve to emulate. I would add Chuck Brewer but he didn't appear to have the millions to draw on for his campaign that Shreve and Hollingsworth do.
Southsiders-don't fall for the GOP's ploy making Shreve look like a conservative. It's disgusting the way the local party will abuse the term "conservative" to help win votes, while they despise the platforms, principles, and candidates that are truly conservative and do all in their power to rid the party of them. Vote for Sandlin in the Primary.
Spoiled rich brat
"Vote for Sandlin in the Primary."
THIS!!!!
To Christine Accetturo: "YES, ABSOLUTELY"
So I see Erin Houchin finally scraped enough money together to buy some TV ads attacking Tennessee Trey.
